據外媒報道，大型乳企邁高（Murray Goulburn）公司和恒天然（Fonterra）已將牛奶固形物（milk solids）的價格降到低于許多奶農的成本價格，導致奶農損失慘重。

　　澳聯邦政府被指責對削減牛奶出場價的行為不作為，迫于壓力政府近日提出了一項針對乳品行業(yè)的援助方案。

　　據報道，澳洲證券與投資委員會（The Australian Securities and Investment Commission）正在對邁高公司進行調查，澳洲競爭與消費者委員會（Australian Consumer and Competition Commission）也承認正在調查這兩家公司。

　　維省西南萬農（Wannon）選區(qū)的聯邦議員特漢（Dan Tehan）說，聯邦政府將等待這兩家公司的調查結果，但在此期間有望推出針對陷入困境奶農的援助方案。
