RTCA No. 75.01.17:06: Petroleum products. Diesel fuel oil No. 2-D (Motor vehicles). Specifications
On 2 August 2006, the Government of the Republic of Honduras notified, in document G/TBT/N/HND/33, draft Central American Technical Regulation (RTCA) No. 75.01.17:06: "Petroleum products. Diesel fuel oil No. 2-D (Motor vehicles). Specifications."
The notified Technical Regulation establishes the physico-chemical requirements to be met by diesel for automotive and thermoelectric use. It applies to the petroleum derivative known as diesel, which is formed from a complex mixture of different types of hydrocarbons (paraffinic, naphthenic, olefinic, aromatic and polyaromatic) and has a distillation (boiling) range of between 80°C and 400°C.
The purpose of the present Addendum is to notify WTO Members that this Technical Regulation has been updated and that there will be a comment and observation period of 60 days as from the date of this notification.
