Description: This addendum aims to informing that the National Institute of Metrology, Quality and Technology – Inmetro, issued Ordinance no. 194, 2 June 2020, that reviews the regulatory stock in order to revoke low impact regulatory measures, previously notified under G/TBT/N/BRA/896.

It is prohibited, from the publication of this Ordinance, the beginning of new certification process objects covered by listed Ordinances in Art. 1.

Existing certifications may be maintained and the Conformity Identification Seal affixed to products and/or packaging provided that maintenance conformity assessment activities in accordance with the deadlines provided in the Conformity Assessment Procedures (RAC).

Products manufactured or imported within the validity of certificates and/or registration issued under the conditions laid down in Art. 3rd will be considered regular in the market until 31 December 2023.

The following Inmetro Ordinances will be completely revoked on 31 December 2023:

· Inmetro Ordinance 307, 01 July 2014;

· Inmetro Ordinance 331, 14 July 2014;

· Inmetro Ordinance 196, 21 August 2006;

· Inmetro Ordinance 102, 09 April 2009;

· Inmetro Ordinance 245, 22 May 2015;

· Inmetro Ordinance 272, 21 June 2011;

· Inmetro Ordinance 590, 5 November 2012;

· Inmetro Ordinance 190, 25 November 2004.
